This is a longshot, but is it somehow possible to have 4K resolution only for actual playback of videos, then 1080p in the GUI and Windows?

I have 3840x2160@60hz running, but I'd rather run 1080p for everyday stuff.

Any chance of this happening in Kodi?

EDIT: I am running Kodi 16.1 RC1.
