(2017-04-09, 15:08)3DBuff Wrote: [ -> ]@fimgeek47 frame skipping issue every 20s is often caused by TV or other display not being able to sync on 23.98 fps. If the TV is working at 24 fps only it will do the frame skip every 20s. This could be unrelated to your issue but worth to check.
Under System Display make sure you have "Use full screen windows' OFF. Then check if you have 23.98 in the "Refresh Rate". Select it to see if everything is working OK. Make sure you have in the Player section "Adjust display refresh rate" set to "Always" and "Sync Playback to display" OFF.

Kodi MVC is not working for me on my PC. I need to get the correct hardware just for that. I'm still waiting for Intel to figure it out or do a major recall Wink

It's very unlikely to be the TV not being able to sync to 23.976 (there aren't separate HDMI modes for each ISTR as it is just a tweak to the clock speed I think) - it's far more likely to be the source. (Until Haswell, Intel GPUs couldn't do 23.976/59.94 perfectly)

If you are using Windows with adjust refresh rate on start/stop enabled you should be OK if you are running Haswell or newer. (and similar generation Atom CPUs) If you are running at a fixed refresh rate remember to select 23 not 24Hz in Windows (23 is short for 23.976) There is very little stuff at 24.000Hz (some European Blu-rays)
So i've been trying to get 3D playback to work on my LGE6 OLED. I've connected my TV to my computer through HDMI1.4, turned on 3D settings and set the resolution to 1080p. As 3D setting I chose hardware based. When I start playing a 3D bluray iso the tv correctly switches to 3d mode and the video starts playing however I can only hear sound and dont see video (I just see the kodi menu).

After some googling I tried turning the render setting to software and disabling hardware acceleration but this only resulted in a double pink KODI menu with once again sound but no video visible once I start playback.

Anyone has any idea how to resolve my problem?

Well..., I could take a guess, but you could also say wat hardware you're using?
Do you have more than one display attached to your PC?

I5 3570K with an radeon 7950 videocard. The rest isn't too relevant I guess.

I have 2 screens attached indeed. (other screen is a samsung 1200p samsung monitor).

Does your MTD have an HDMI port?

Sometimes everything can be relevant, but in this case, did you read the opening-post of this topic regarding AMD GPU and this specific Kodi build?

I see, so this build and it's MCV playback isn't compatible with AMD cards. Too bad. There are no AMD MCV compatible builds around right since this seems the only one around.

No, the issue is caused by unexpected behavior of AMD drivers. Some AMD cards is unable to switch to stereo 3D mode (or unable to property handle stereo mode) via native directx API.

It is the official one. It was leaked and temporarily available for download and install. From last week (Wednesday), the Final could (and still can), also be installed with the Assistant and from today on, Microsoft is pushing it out (not to all systems at once), by Windows update.
