Nice!!!!
Would be nice if Dell would just have this on sale permanently, as searching slickdeals.net shows they've had it for $130, then $98, and even $80 recently. They must get Win10 for practically nothing, and seems they make little money even at $80.
My plan with Win 10 is going to be a little different...I plan on running LTSB on it as all this will be is Kodi. LTSB should also be less resource intensive and hopefully a smaller install overall on the 32GB drive.
What is "LTSB"?

Remaining items just tested on Beelink BT3:
  • Bitrates: Birds up to 90Mbps, perfect playback
  • Jellyfish: Birds up to 255Mbps, perfect playback. Wasn't expecting this out of Intel ATOM; impressive
(I don't test hgher than 255Mbps as there's no point; no existing or upcoming 4K is expected to go higher than 128Mbps)
  • VC-1 23.976 1080p, perfect playback
  • VC-1 29.970 1080i, perfect playback; wasn't expecting this either; nice
  • MPEG2 29.970 4:2:2, some stutters, but not bad considering even nVidia Shield and HiMedia Q10 Pro can't handle this type

Off to do detailed evaluation of Dell Micro 3050 vs. Intel NUC D34010WYK1, then make a decision as to which to keep. After this I'm done (even if @weks05 won't believe it Wink) until Kaby Lake arrives (unless I get any review samples)...
Long term support branch. It has a lot less of the "bells and whistles" from the normal branch. I think you can only do LTSB if you have enterprise licensing though.
Statikk is correct...luckily I have the licensing available to me. Its basically a stripped down version of windows 10. There is no windows store, no edge browser, no extra crap. It will not grab drivers from windows updates, only updates affecting windows directly for security purposes. There are no build updates either, still on 10240. It is about as close to Windows 7 as you can get with it still being 10 Smile
Sounds like a winner w/o all the unnecessary crap, especially for HTPC use. I'll have to ask my Microsoft developer friend if he can get me a copy.
You can use WIM/IMAGEX to create your own Windows image.
For more help you are in search of en_windows_10_enterprise_2015_ltsb_x64_dvd_6848446.iso Smile

So what's the verdictHuh
Working on my review... both are A+. It will be tomorrow... off to see a Cirque du Soleil show now with my family Smile.

Hint: Which comes down to cost to performance ratio, set-up effort, and about the few differentiators I found (not 3D MVC related) that may matter to you in spending more for the i3 D34010WYK1 NUC.

Went to see it with my wife last year, great show.
Enjoy yourself!
MVC BUILD 0407 seems to work good with enable full screen windowed mode only for me, playback and quality are perfect imo

Also with this build the Estuary Skin Mod works and has added Atmos and DTSX file identification with extra artwork and custom home menus..

How is the playback and quality using a 3D iso?

seems great here, i just tested 4 titles and everything seems good, im sticking with 0407

but.without fullscreen window enabled i have horrible playback, which is new for me as as u usually just leave it disabled and everything works good.
