Having trouble setting up the kore remote for kodi, downloaded the app on my tablet and trying to control the kodi on my laptop. Changed all my settings as it says web sever, remote control etc but it still can't find mh devices when i search both devices are connected to same internet,can anyone help me get this sorted please? Thanks.

That's why I'm here. Unable to connect, yet, it manages to "find" my Media Center?
Ahhh... That's open-source for you - extremely limited support!
I've tried Yatse and Kore - sometimes they work, and then they stop.

Haven't heard of yaste so just went and give it a try and its worked first time. Seems to be ok, hope you get yours sorted.
