is there a possiblilty to have Estuary recognize ATMOS and DTSX naming tags so we can get proper identification with the stock skin?

included below is a code change to make it work on aeon nox but seems like its pretty generic and could be implemented by any skin.

These are ugly hacks and should not be included in default skin

is there any possibility there is a global solution being looked at for this ?
At the moment it's not possible. Kodi uses ffmpeg to decode video streams. Ffmpeg can't recognize Atmos,Auro or DTSX and thus Kodi is not able to recognize these audio extensions.
Ffmpeg is not developed by the Kodi team. The Kodi team has to wait if ffmpeg can recognize the audio extensions.

Since then you have to live without the recognition or do some hacks. Possible two easy solutions. Filetagging and since Kodi 15 it is possible to tag videos with tags in the database.
If you don't want to rename your filenames you could tag your videos in the database.

Bot 'hacks' need support from the skin.
+1 for support
I would like to see that too Smile
