I use Kodi in combination with a plasma TV, these could sustain serious damage if a certain part of the image is constantly being displayed in a bright color. This could lead to a burn in. To avoid this I, previously using confluence, removed the logo, date and time parts manually. But a better and more sustainable solution would be for the logo, date and time to be dimmed (or hidden) using a skin setting.
Thus my request would be, please add a skin setting to dim (or hide) the logo, date and time.
