I'm stuck in one place and maybe you can help me please on the jumps.
And although I would like to recognize divx5 files via the video codec and send in a rule to an external player.
Unfortunately KODI not recognize the codec and turns not be on the external player. I've also tried with the files directly from Divx to preclude it is on file - but is unfortunately also not.
Which field reads KODI from the video?
What can I change that KODI sends the file on the external player?
Does this still with the video codec in the new KODI versions?
Which rules I've tried so far:
<rule filetypes="avi" videocodec="DivX 5" player="VLC"/>
<rule filetypes="avi" videocodec="xvid" player="VLC"/>
<rule filetypes="avi" videocodec="div5" player="VLC"/>
<rule filetypes="avi" videocodec="DX50" player="VLC"/>
<rule videocodec="DX50" player="VLC"/>
<rule videocodec="div5" player="VLC"/>
Once I to Part videocodec=" " removed, it works again with the File type "avi", but it should not all AVI files are sent over the external player, but only DivX5.
