I'm running kodi 16. And I have modified arctic zephyr a bit, even though it says it has no touch support. But it works good enough with a touchscreen.
What I'd like to do is, remove most touch controls, except left click. It's gonna be used by visitors at a local museum, so I don't want any "whoops I pressed something". They are just supposed to click on a video and watch it, and not be able to go outside the file view very easily.

I have a touchscreen.xml in userdata/keymaps. I'm using a basic example of a touchscreen keymap, and removed longpress, rightclick and all of that, but it's like it skips using the file. I still can do longpress, and get a context menu, which I don't want. And changing <longpress>rightclick</longpress> to leftclick, didn't work either.

Not sure what I might have missed.
Have you tried this using Confluence? It could be that it is skin related (?)
