Is there something planed about the horrible "new" Views? The "Wide List" is the new view that its not complete cancer but you cant see if something is already watched. Or is a new unofficial Version planed?
I find for me a workaround. I
modded the unofficial version with the fix and now i get the "working" views and youtube videos.

I know this but its insane. The new "Views" are a huge step back and not an improvement. The Unoffical Version that is linked in Post one is with the current change no longer working.

Views are handled by the skin and not by the plugin.

Thats because it doesn't have the update. It's probably not going to be updated.

You could nicely ask your skin developper to add view for addons that use content type videos.

Probably a silly question, but how to update the plugin to version 5.3.8? The update is successful, but I still have version 5.3.6.
RPi2, LibreELEC 7.0.3, YouTube 5.3.8

Nevermind. I had to update from the zip file.
I'm kind of new to Kodi so can someone explain to me how I update from 5.3.6 to 5.3.8?
I'm running an RPi 3 with Kodi v15.2
Thanks

THIS ^^^ (as stated clearly in the FAQ)

Yes, thank you, and this is exactly what the FAQ suggests.
(and an official Media Info type view has already been added by Team Kodi for Confluence)
I even posted links to assist Skin Developers with the relevant information if they are not yet aware of the situation.
