Hi All,
I have read somewhere that Kodi can (will) benefit substantially if music files are properly tagged with Musicbrainz data.
However, I haven't been able to figure out exactly which tag field(s) Kodi actually use.
There are several ways to tag files from MB, and they all differ in what they actually write to the ID3 tag. Some write a ton of info (MBIDs) while others just extract the basic albumname, albumartist, artist, track# and title for each track. Some add fingerprint data as well. SOme add a lot of iTunes specific data.
What is it Kodi needs in order to succeed in its effort to scrape effectively, in addition to albumname, albumartist, artist, track# and title for each track?
