Just thought I would post to see if anyone else has seen this problem.
I bought a VicTop android 5.1 octa core RK3368 box from Amazon. Main reason was it has a 1GB LAN port and 8 cores and plenty of memory, should be like light speed really but watching live streams on a wired internet connection is awful. If I disable Ethernet and use WIFI it is much improved, doesn't really make sense to me as the cable should be far quicker and potentially more reliable...
Just to rule out the network cable or my Virgin connection I tried the same network cable using an older Droidplayer dual core box and it streams live stuff pretty much flawlessly

Very odd. NBC Sports Extra is particularly bad jitter wise on a wired connection however there is a marked improvement when using the new Android box on WIFI only and disabling the Ethernet option.
Anyone else had anything like this ?
