I am using Mezzmo UPnP/DLNA server to host my files.

And then using Kodi as the client to view them. Everything works fine but when I stop a video from playback Kodi never remembers where I left off and the resume function never shows up. ( I have it set to choose in video settings )

I don't understand why it never remembers where I left off. If I use BubbleUPnP and feed the videos from Mezzmo to MX Player Pro. MX Player Pro will give me and option to restart or resume.

This got me to believe the resume function is broken in Kodi over UPnP. Cause local files will resume but UPnP ones won't.

Maybe I am missing something here. Is this a bug or just not a feature that is added? If so how do we get it added.

It's a bug. At least it is when Kodi is the UPnP host and client, because it's supposed to write the data to resume from. Not sure about Mezzmo.

Hmm okay I guess I will submit a bug report..
