#0724x crashlog with debug enabled http://sprunge.us/SVVQ

Thanks - that does make it clear the problem is with atempo PR.
I've reported to fernetmenta and will drop from this build until there is an update.

You guys rock!

(2016-07-21, 14:42)popcornmix Wrote: [ -> ]Do you get the issue with recordings? If so a sample file would be useful.

Just rolled forward to #0720 again and recorded something (whilst knowing the issue was in Live TV). The recording doesn't seem to exhibit the problem. Not sure if that helps you at all though.

Moved up to #0724. Same issue persists with Live TV only. The video seems not to judder anywhere near as much but without the Sync playback to display option enabled the audio is completely out of sync.

Is another debug log required for this new version?

Thanks in advance.

+1

Can confirm that audio and video is way out of sync in #0724 had to revert to #0723 as nothing I did would fix the problem.

Seems to be when changing from and SD channel (in sync) to HD, the HD channel would be way out of sync, I turned on 'sync to display' but still get the audio out of sync.

This could be due to a number of changes in #0724 I can see there have been a number of AE updated and video deinterlace and clocking commits.

As I said, had to revert back to #0723

Cheers,

Loggio
Hi!

getting blackscreens when switching to some pvr channels with #0724 + argus tv. debug log http://paste.ee/r/BvSqM
starting up to a working pvr channel >> first channel switch >> black screen >> waiting >> skipping some seconds on stream >> working.

last working build for me is #0625.

Greetings
Live TV seems ok (no crashes) with #0725.
Thanks.

0726 is very unstable. I'm getting a weird Tvheadend behavior. I think this is started in 0724.

http://sprunge.us/LMcX (errors start at 04:36:31)

http://sprunge.us/KBJa (stream stalled at 05:52:50)
(2016-07-24, 18:12)smp1 Wrote: [ -> ]I noticed a rare but very annoying bug. This usually happens when watching a HD DVB-S channel for a prolonged period of time (12+ hours).
I tested with Jarvis (LE 7.0.2) and got the same issue there. Kodi always crash when it tuned to a HDTV channel for a long period of time (10-15 hours). There is no crashlog, Kodi just froze, I had to reboot it via ssh.

Are you using the latest tvheadend42? Doesn't tvheadend have it's own log? Perhaps there are errors being logged there...

last working build for me is #0625.

Greetings

+1 with ArgusTv, but only on 1920x1080 content SD live plays fine. To get 1080i HD to play need to skip back a few seconds then ok. same on #0725

Yes, I use Tvheadend 4.2. Nothing unusual in Tvheadend's log. Didn't try the debug log yet.
Hi guys,

please don't shoot me, cause i have just a little issue about modification of the confluence skin.

What i'm asking you is how to modify the video player to show up no boxes , Info's etc when i press pause on my remote.

I need only the still video image without any UI while in Pause mode.

So is there a quick and no rocket science solution for me to customize the skin or player to do that ?

Thanks a lot for your support and Millhouse and Popcornmix ...you guys rock Big Grin

The most likely change in 0724 is "mmalrender: Disable deinterlace when no interlaced frames seen",
but I don't believe that could cause tvheadend errors in log.

But, I'll revert it for tonight's build (it will re-introduce the stuttering when switching channels from 1080i->720p) just to confirm if it is causing an issue.

You should ask in the Confluence forum, as this question is OT for this thread (these builds no longer even ship Confluence as standard). The answer will most likely involve editing one or more skin files. You could also try using a modified version of Confluence in case they support what you are after.
