(2016-04-06, 20:55)toppot Wrote: [ -> ]Just tested with renamed .kodi - I enabled ssh, samba and tvheadend - rebooted and waited 1 hour....

Could you try again without tvheadend?

Same result - 1 hour in idle, and the same picture....

This is not the biggest issue - the biggest one is still this "1 hour problem".....

The above is from the previously active OpenELEC testbuilds thread.... I hope you recall this strange 1 hour problem. And now (actually after being all the way back through OpenELEC 6.0.3, and also experimenting with running straight from the SD card - to no avail) I found it!!!!

On my separate TVHeadend server I also run a xupnpd server (long story, but the kids Tizen TV can not tune to TVHeadend directly, nor run Kodi - so I have made this upnp server to share lines to TVHeadend direct urls - and broadcast those as a playlist..)

And with "netstat -antlp" I suddenly realized that after 1 hour suddenly Kodi starts to query the upnp server A LOT!!!! I dont understand exactly why, but when Kodi starts to crawl I can kill the xupnpd server - and suddenly i works again.... Phew, that one was difficult to spot...

Anyway - not sure what happens with this upnp requestsHuh And why it suddenly after 1 hour "goes crazy"... If I truly am the only person experiencing this it MUST be "something" that is broken in the xupnpd server... (and I will kill that permanently) - but perhaps still worth considering why Kodi is not able to deal with a somewhat broken upnp server....
@toppot - that would be one for @Montellese, the resident UPnP expert. If you want this looked into you should open a ticket on trac.kodi.tv.

Glad you got to the bottom of it, though - thanks for the update. Smile

Yes, the regression is known. Should be a fix soon.

BTW, you should be able to remove disable_pvt and audio_sdm_mod_order from config.txt - they will be enabled automatically in recent firmware.

Pandoki looks like an SSL/Certificate error:
Code:

Can you enable libcURL component logging and upload a new debug log?

Yahoo weather looks like a skin error - are you testing with stock Estuary?
Code:
14:43:44 125.638481 T:1961758720    INFO: Loading skin file: MyWeather.xml, load type: KEEP_IN_MEMORY

If you're testing with Estuary, please report this in the Estuary bugs thread. If you're not testing with Estuary, report this bug to your skin maintainer.

What is the best way to switch over?

You'll have to wait until devupdate is modified to work with libreelec. Until then you're going to have to update manually.

Great work Milhouse. does this mean that in the near future, the builds will also be available via the addon OpenelecDevUpdate? thanks
So far I have had an operational copy of openELEC on my rpi then upgrades to previous OE milhouse builds now running libreELEC but currently downloading latest krypton build. With the latter yet to do I can still say all transitions have been smooth without issue besides my rc6 remote not working all the time. Navigation works but the OK or SELECT button do not function.

Keep up the good work.

Edit.

Updated to LibreELEC (milhouse) kodi 17.0 alpha apr 19 2016.
RC6 remote all working so far.
Cpu usage after 10 minutes at idle 100%
Memory used 111mb/341mb doesn't change. My rpi has 512? Missing some for graphics?

The Dev Update add-on is a third-party add-on developed by Leopold, and nothing to do with OpenELEC (or LibreELEC). Hopefully an official LibreELEC compatible version will become available.
