Hello guys,

I need your help.
Installed my new board today on my htpc previous I had one ASRock Q1900ITX.

Configuration
Tower: LC Power Mini
Board: ASRock J3455-ITX
RAM: Low Voltage 4Gb Crucial 1600Mhz CAS 11
Storage: Kingston 120Gb SDD
Windows 10 Pro 64 Bits.

I have all drivers installed from Asrock website

I have installed Kodi 17 RC and tried some 4k torrent files, and I got image for 5/6 seconds and then the Kodi crash.
I have tried the same videos on VLC and only can get audio, no image. Sad
1080p videos both on VLC and Kodi look pixelated.
Tried to watch 4k videos on Youtube using Chrome and the videos stops many times and I have frame drops. The same videos works perfectly using Edge browser.

Do you think it`s a hardware problem!?

I just upgrade from a ASRock Q1900-ITX, and everything (1080p) was working perfectly with the same configuration.

The HTPC is conntected to Hisense 55M5500 tv.

Help please.

Try update with Intel Driver Update Utility, for me it installed later graphic drivers than one from the Asrock.
Hi,

another feature (vt-d) which was missing is probably in the 1.20.

Can't wait to try this BIOS. From a cold start on my 1080p vizio, i never get a picture upon bootup, i have to restart each time before the display comes on. Hoping they fix it.
In the beta zone there is a 1.20D (10.01.2017) Bios.

http://www.asrock.com/mb/Intel/J4205-ITX...p?cat=Beta

Is it an additional one or the prerelease version of the final 1.2?!

date-wise 1.20D is newer than 1.20 by one week. 23.12 vs 16.12, good for testing for us with boot problems, i'll give them a try during this weekend.
So I will test first offical then 1.2D today evening. Thanks (didnt download it yet, so I didnt see the revision/timestamps...still @ work Confused )
Just to be shure.
Itx j4205,win10pro,kodi 17 rc2. There should be no hd-audio through hdmi right?
Im asking because from my understanding it shouldnt,at least im not.

But now a user on other forum tells me it works for him..
HD Audio works unter win 10 on HDMI 2 as long the other devices in the chain only have HDMI 1.4. Thats my case and HD Audio works.
Hopefully the updates solved that HD Audio works for other people with further HDMI 2.0 devices.
He is using Harman Kardon AVR 265. Hdmi 1.4 indeed. Im using marantz 7010,hdmi2.0
Thank you for your reply, somehow i completely missed that!

Guys, latest build here

https://www.sendspace.com/file/s5a5ua

changes:
all patches for HEVC10 updated (kodi, mesa, kernel)
bumped to latest kodi, mesa, x86-video-intel, libva-vaapi, linux-drm-nighlty
based on latest LE 8

First time LE user, installed this version on USB stick and booted from the stick. Installation and boot worked fine. Asrock J4205-ITX , HDMI connected directly to Samsung 4K TV. DVI diconnected, no AVR inbetween. Clean installation with no backup restore.

I can only get 2160p @ 30Hz, no 60Hz choice. 1080p @60Hz is there. Why not 2160p @60Hz? I'm getting 2160p @60Hz in Win 10.

/Feelgood
HD Audio on LE millhouse still doesn't work over HDMI 2.0 and with BIOS 1.2 or 1.2d. I can't test windows since it worked for me always.

Yeah, it's not a bios issue. It's a flaw in the kernel - I pinged the relevant guy that can implement the support - but yeah, we don't pay them - they don't owe us anything :-)
