Extras are being scanned and misidentified as episodes of TV shows by Kodi, so I end up getting lots of false duplicates for various shows. I've tried every method I can find for removing these but none of them work:
After every change I've:
No matter what I do, the Extras show up incorrect as Extras within my TV shows. I can't seem to get rid of them.
I'm using the latest version of Kodi on an Nvidia Shield TV, pointing at an SMB share, which is backed by a Windows Server 2012 R2 NTFS network share.
Anyone else want to suggest another method of making my extras not show up in the TV library?
- .nomedia folder in every Extras folder
- Rename "Bonus" folders to "Extras"
- Moved all "Extras" to top-level folder within the TV show, outside the seasons folders
- VideoExtras add-on, selected option to update advancedsettings.xml to ignore "Extras"
- Changed content type of "Extras" folder to "None" and selected option to exclude from folder scan
After every change I've:
- Removed the TV show completely from the library
- Scanned for new content
- "Clean Library" in settings
