New user, first time post ... please be gentle.
I have an M8S android box and am having a difficult time cleaning up the temporary filecache files. Sometimes when I hit the button to exit Kodi it hangs up, doesn't shut down properly, and leaves filecaches in the temp folder, which can cause Kodi to black screen next time I start it up. When I go to All Apps, Tasker and hit the "Fix Kodi" button, it displays 6 files (filecache001.cache to filecache006.cache), but when I hit the play button it comes back with a message saying it can't delete the files.
When I navigate in ES Explorer to the directory where the files are (sdcard/android/data/org,xbmc.kodi/files/kodi/temp/) to delete the files manually, the files are not there. I know this is where they are stored because this is the path displayed when the files are listed when I hit the Fix Kodi button.
I change the settings to display all files.
How can I see/delete these files?
