When the Dev said wrong forum, i think he/she meant this isnt an OS independant problem, and you might get more help if you posted in the Windows forum

Since you are not getting a response yet, the only thing I can offer is you should uninstall and instead use stable build v16.1.

Unless of course you were planning on being an alpha tester for v17 but it doesn't sound that way.
