Has the zoom level text gone for good in future releases? In Jarvis it would let me know on screen as I pressed Z as to whether it was Wide-Zoom, Stretch 16:9 etc. In Krypton I don't see this text, which I always found useful.

No problem in estuary.
Looks like you're using the Roboto font. You'll need to switch to a narrower font if you want the French translation to fit. Just tested the default font and the text doesn't overlap. No plans to change the font size globally.

Edit : here how it s look with default font

Thanks to you I have found what the problem was. When I tested kodi 18 it had installed the french package for kodi 18. When I downgrade to kodi 17 it keep the french package for kodi 18. Just reinstalled the version for kodi 17 and everything is good now.
Thank again for your time.

I guess I'll figure out what to do about it when I start working on Mimic for Kodi 18.
Thank again for your time.

There is no French translation pack for v18 at all so this is impossible

Would help if you can provide a screenshot, or explain exactly which window you are referring to and what you mean by random fanarts. Mimic 5 implements random backgrounds from the latest beta of skin.helper.service. You'll need to install Marcelveldt's beta repo, see the first post of this thread.(2016-12-17, 00:05)lollo78 Wrote: [ -> ]Hi braz, I upgraded to Krypton and my old mimic 3.x is now updated to 5.x.
I am unable to set and see random fanarts when I select Movies, TV Show and Music.
There are some missing Add-on in my system?
In mimic 3.x all' was fine...
Just updated to 5.0.1, but not solve the issue.
The fix is not in 5.0.1?
Hi, I installed marcelveldt's beta repo but the issue remains.
I'll try ti explain better with some screenshots
Here you can see my settings for Music (with "random fanarts"), my add-on section (I need to install all the addons?) and the black background under Music widget (but I would like to see a slideshow of my artists fanarts). The same happens with Movies TV Shows and Wheater (for Wheater the "random images setting" is missing)

Just pushed an update to github that lets you select the image to overlay on the background. There should be enough options for everyone. For the gray images, like "gray20-90.png", the first number is the percent gray and the second number is the percent opacity. The default if no image is selected is gray30-85.png.
You'll notice I also added a grid background option, and you're free to browse to your own image.
