It looks like that's an RSS feed at the bottom of the Kodi screen. Any way to add/remove rss sources?

Settings, appearance, skin item, look have button for turn off rss (Show rss news feed) or edit.

you can also adapt the file
"C:\Users\(yourname)AppData\Roaming\Kodi\userdata\RssFeeds.xml"

Use your text editor on notepad++ to edit it!
