Hi guys - my first post - sorry that its to report a problem and ask for help.
I have an android Tablet with an Allwinner A83T chipset running android 5.1.1. 2GB of RAM.
It can run Kodi 14.1 no problem but when I download and install the latest version from the play store - 16.1, it struggles to run it at all. The tablet often just crashes into a black screen or runs very slowly. I have an older version of the tablet that has the exact same chipset but only 1GB of RAM and it works no problem. The only other difference between the two is that the newer one has a higher screen resolution - 1024 x 600 against 1366 x 768. I would have thought the extra 1GB of RAM would be able to cope with that.
