I have reinstalled my HTPC with 16.04 due to hardware failure. I came to the point where I had to config the suspend & reboot functionality.
The old wiki is outdated (do NOT use it!):
http://kodi.wiki/view/HOW-TO:Suspend_and_wake_in_Ubuntu

However I found an older thread which is answered by Fritsch which put me on the right track:
http://forum.kodi.tv/showthread.php?tid=225281

In this answer he is still advising udisks, however on 16.04 you will not have that, you need udisks2. Furthermore there is an additional post (general suspend topic and not kodi limited):
https://forums.bunsenlabs.org/viewtopic.php?id=971

So my kind question would be if this wiki Ubuntu page could be revised so the information is accurate again. Thank you in advance.
I'm not that familiar with these topics, but I would be glad to update anything if you tell me what it should say. You can also use the "request account" link ( http://kodi.wiki/view/Special:RequestAccount ) and edit the page directly, if you'd like. You probably know more about it than I do, and I would trust you to do a better job ;)
Hi Ned, I would do however besides trying and testing I do not much of this either. Based on the link where Fritsch answered it seemed like he knew he was talking about. Might be a better idea to ask him?
(I would just copy&paste)
I'll give it my best guess ;)
Let me know when done, I will read it to see if it reflects my trial & error case.
