Full Version: each client creates its own video-database (MySQL)

Hello,

I sync two Kodi clients via a MySQL-database.
The special feature is the MySQL Server running on my RPI2 on which also Kodi runs. My other Kodi client is a FTVstick. Access to the database is therefore both local (RPI2) and externally (FTVstick).
For the music database works very well, but in the video database, each client specifies a onw database (RPI2-MYVideo105, FTVstick-MyVideo104).

Is it possible to specify the client which video database to use?

PS: (if relevant) on the RPI2 runs OSMC beta Kodi 17, and on the FTVS also Kodi 17 (android) by Kodi HP.

Greeting,

Ah OK, thanks for the link Smile
If i ist all the newest kodi 17 for Android from the Kodi HP it will usw the newst Version (105)?
Precisely the same versions will use the same db version. You'll notice that stable versions don't change the db version - so everything in the official 16.x family is compatible, for example - but, until release, versions will change.

So it really depends on what Jarvis version (commit) you're using on each device.
