Sorry for resurrecting this thread from the dead but would it be possible to add bookmarking to music as per the original request by OP?

I would dearly love to have bookmarking for my smart playlist of audiobooks as well as a watched (or "listened") indicator identical to videos.

i'd like to have an resume point for audio tracks too!

this is the one feature that i have long wanted and am desperate for!

any programmers want to help on this? I'm happy to contribute where i can!
