Dear all,
I would like to retrieve the information of the currently played video. The command Player.GetItem is a very good candidate. But in some cases, the reponse just shows empty fields. Is it possible to get more information even in such situation?

The player is filled with the information just like any other listitem is. It can be filled from lots of places and an addon/script can fill as much or as little as it desires. And even add extra information afaik. If your playing media is in the database you are in luck. You can then look it up and get all the goodies.. hth
