I am trying to run kodi-16.1-Jarvis-armeabi-v7a.apk on my W-7 64bit computer to load kodi on my Amazon fire tv stick. It downloaded OK, but the file will not run. I apparently need an app to open the .apk file, which my W-7 does bot have. I had no problems installing abdLink.

You can't run the .apk on Windows. You need to copy it across to your fire tv stick. http://kodi.wiki/view/HOW-TO:Install_Kodi_on_Fire_TV

So adbFire will let me run the .apk. I have been trying with adbLink.
