Few weeks ago I purchased a 32 inch Philips Android Smart TV for my bedroom. I just installed the Kodi app from the play store and scraped the files from my media centre computer. I looked in the system info setting in the app and it showed the resolution in the app being only 1280 x 720 at 60hz.
I opened the movies folder and found a movie that is listed as 1080 and it played in full screen, I didn't need to make any adjustments. Is this a bug in Kodi and it just says it's 720 but does play 1080p natively or does it only play 720?
