I have a macbook air 2011 that I'd like to install Kodi on. This laptop is running Windows 7.

I installed kodi 16.1 and it immediately crashes on startup. I read something about needing DX11 support - would anyone know if this hardware is supported?

Under linux the video card reports as:
Intel Corporation 2nd generationd core processor family integrated graphics controller (rev 9)

I think this means its and intel HD3000 video. If this SHOULD be supported then I'll start down the debugging path...otherwise where can I download the last version of kodi supporting DX10 ?

As Far as I remember, the IGP of the 2nd generation core processor (sandy bridge) does not support DX11

I think they go to DX10.1 only

What version of Kodi does that restrict me to...and where can I download old versions of Kodi?

You can use Kodi 15.2

Just fyi for others, kodi 15.2 works great.

(In another post someone said kodi 16 SHOULD work...but it doesn't)
