I'm using Kodi with Android 6.0.1 and local cast. I have the xml player file in the appropriare directory but, when I start a video, of any format, the "player bar," flashes and the video does not play.

Any suggestions about getting Kodi to work with Local Cast?

Have you tried starting local cast first?

Yes, even witb local cast started. And casting to the Chromecast.

Obvious question but can you use Local Cast ok without Kodi?
