Full Version: Album name collisions in artwork lookup

Before describing the problem, some info about my music library:

1. All FLAC ~16K tracks, 1K albums
2. Everything is tagged with artist/album/track information
3. Organized as Artist/Album/Track
4. All albums have cover art
5. Approximately 75% now have cdart

Now to the problem. I have a number of albums with the same name but from different artists, for example I have
1. Eric Clapton playing at the Shoreline
3. Ry Cooder playing at the same venue
3. Tom Petty at the same venue

So the folder structures are:

Eric Clapton/Live at The Shoreline/nn-<name>.flac
Tom Petty/Live at The Shoreline/nn-<name>.flac
Ry Cooder/Live At The Shoreline Amphitheater/nn-<name>.flac

Each folder as a "folder.jpg" for the cover art and a "cdart.png" for the cd image

When I play the Clapton album I get the correct cover art and cd image
When I play the Tom Petty album I get the CLAPTON cover art & cd image
When I play the Ry Cooder album I get the correct cover art & cd image

This seems to indicate a cache collision for the Clapton & Petty albums. To confirm this, I changed the Tom Petty album to "Live At The Shoreline Amphitheater" and sure enough it picks up the Ry Cooder cover art and CD image.

Just a wild guess, but is the album name alone being used to do some sort of lookup when gathering up the artwork?
