I have a url (hds, f4m) that works fine with livestreamer but I am unable to get this to play through kodi. I have piped the output from livestreamer to a file and had kodi play that file without any problems. I am curious to know how I would be able to get my addon to play the output from a command that outputs the video. I have tried writing the command into the play first param but that doesn't suffice. Nor could I get the stream working through the livestreamer api.

Did you have any luck with this? I am stuck in the same place. I have a stream and am trying to work out how to pipe it into Kodi.

Thanks. I found a long way round by starting a web server and serving back to kodi like i*****live does.
