According to GSMArena that phone has Android OS, v4.0.4 . The Kodi wiki clearly states:
Quote:Kodi v16 requires Android 4.2 (Android 5.0 or later is recommended).
Future Krypton feature: Kodi v17 will require Android 5.0 or higher .
