Hello,

I'm running Kodi 17 Alpha 2. when opening certain HD channels on a m3u list Kodi crashes. It only happens on specific streams on my Macbook Pro Retina late 2013. I get to see the channel for a couple of seconds and then Kodi crashes.

Does anybody have a solution for this? When playing the same channels on a Minix Android Box i don't get this crashes. I have tried also to use Kodi 15 or 16 but I always get the same type of crashes on my mac.

please post the crash report too and try to disable vda hardeware decoder and report back

disabling vda hardware decoder fixed it! thank you so much!!
