I have Kodi 17 Krypton installed. When I try to play my ISO video files...nothing happens. This has worked flawlessly in previous versions of Kodi, just not this one. Is there something I need to do to get this to work?

debug log (wiki) might help the folks sort the issue out. make sure to post to pasebin or xbmclogs.com

if banned add-ons (wiki) are in the debug log more than likely it will be trashed. please keep that in mind.

I can't believe you still have not yet provided a debug log (wiki) your problem will remain until you can provide a debug log (wiki) for the powers that be to review.
