I know this can be created by adding a custom home menu item, but it would really be nice if the default skin included a home menu item with quit, shut down, etc. options.

Mimic just uses the skinshortcuts addon's default menu items, then it is up to the user to customize them. No plans to customize main/sub menu defaults beyond what the script provides.

How to add the Power menu? (sorry, noob here)
