If there aren't any channels in the category it will go back to All Channels.
See if there are any Error messages in kodi.log if that is not the case.
cant open the cat's to see if they are empty , but checking the "all channels " section probably 70% of my channels aren't listed , wonder if downloading the file as opposed to using url will make any difference.
I run my m3u through a site ( subscription) that edits the listings and produces a custom url and xml.

If you can't see any ERROR messages in kodi.log have a look at the ini files in addon_data to see what is mapped up.
Categories:
userdata\addon_data\script.tvguide.fullscreen\categories.ini
Channel streams:
userdata\addon_data\script.tvguide.fullscreen\custom_stream_urls_autosave.ini
categories.ini is fully loaded , everything in there .
custom_stream_urls , 240 channels from a list of 501.
haven't done error log yet .

Try version 0.17.403
It was the pvr All Channels problem again. I thought that was fixed.
All Channels is translated into your regional setting so the pvr:// urls change too.
I've added a notification as well.

Yes, after switched to Eng US it added it to Addons after Import PVR>Save>Close>open again

It's usually some unicode or special character that causes problems.

There are at least a couple of normal addons for Teleboy that would integrate better into TVGF.
Have a look for plugin.video.teleboy and plugin.video.kodilivetv on github or google.
I'm wondering if it is possible to include channels that have an empty epg into ProgramListDialog? I added selectItem (on start so that it picks the selected channel from epg) to the list but indexing is wrong when channels are missing in list.

I can't see what you've done. Have you got a diff between mine and yours?
Programs are pretty fundamental to everything in TVGF.
Is it xmltv channels with no program data at all?
