i have ditched my dvd player in favour of xbmc along with 2 of my mates after i demoed xmbc to them.

however, what i liked about my dvd player was if i put in a dvd or cd with multiple video files, it would play one after another without a playlist.

i would love to see this feature.

why is it that when i click on an mp3 file in a folder, xbmcwill go on to play the remaining files in that folder, but when i do the same thing in a folder containing video files, the same thing doesn't happen. incidentally, exactly the same thing happens on my archos av380 - is this a coincidence?

perhaps you could at least include the facility to create a video playlist, so i don't have to rename all my divx files? my videos' filenames each start with a number followed by a description that is different for each file, so they will not stack.
