Kodi Community Forum

I am using Kodi on Android (2 Shield TVs, 1 Nexus Player), and Kodi keeps updating to the Krypton Alpha. It was working ok, but it started crashing, so I tried removing it and going back to the stable. No matter what I try, though, the Play store keeps pushing the Alpha update. I have looked everywhere and can't find any way to remove myself from the Kodi Alpha channel. Anyone have any ideas?

While logged into the same Google account that you use for Google Play, go to https://play.google.com/apps/testing/org.xbmc.kodi/ on your computer and click on "leave the program". Now you can uninstall the alpha and install v16.1 stable, and it won't update until v17 stable is released.
