Hi, I'm using the PVR IPTV simple client with live TV but I can't find a way to specify a location path for the recordings.

How do I do that?

I want to plug a USB drive into my fire tv and use it for recordings.

I'm a rookie with Kodi, but otherwise pretty technical.

Thanks for any advice.
I don't think iptv simple records (unless it has been added recently)
Which one can I use? I just want to save the live tv clips (which are streaming in) to a USB drive?

What do you recommend?
Tvheadend supports iptv feeds.
Thanks nickr. I was looking at the configure settings for TVheadend. I didn't see where you set a record location.

Does that typically happen in the settings for the PVR or somewhere else?
There are a couple of howtos on this forum, but here is the official tvheadon guide

Take a look at the topic for more info!
But from what I'm getting, I think you are using windows?
If you are, unfortunately you have to be a tester to use it!
If not, you can download it for android in the link from that topic!
Hope this has helped you!
Thought I'd mention it here as well!
