i notice the scraper is not able to find all movies that exist on eg Moviemeter?
a title like D.E.B.S. (2004) can't be found... not as DEBS or D.E.B.S. or D.E.B.S. (2004)

I believe also the field of "country" is not scraped?
Add the moment, there is problem on the side.

if the problem is over, I will check your problem.

When using "D.E.B.S. (2004)" there is one result. LINK
It should work now.

That is true.
Any chance that we can use this scraper again in the near future?

At the moment the scraper is working perfectly.
hmmz i tried the day i posted this msg but didnt get any info back. No title no plot nothing

I use nfo files with imbd url inside. Is this sufficient?

/mnt/Media/Video/Movies/Moviename (YYYY)/Moviename (YYYY).nfo
Yes that is important. Moviemeter scraper does not work with nfo's.
just /mnt/Media/Video/Movies/Moviename (YYYY)/Moviename (YYYY).mkv
Ok so it is unusable in my case Smile

Too bad... now my girlfriend has to suffer Tongue
The moviemeter scraper does not work for my collection.

1. Deleted my locations
2. Cleaned my libary
3. Add a new location, i used folder names for lookups.

When xbmc is done scanning my collection, i only get some screenshots as posters, and no information at all. No title, no description etc.
When i go to movie info, and refresh it, it does find the movie.
But then i have to edit all my movies manually. :/

With MovieDB and IMDB scraper i have no problem.
You can use the scrapper!
But lately the side have troubles.

I got exact the same problem lowfi, i mentioned it a few weeks ago in this topic but no response at all.
Yesterday i started a seperate topic you can find here.
No response yet.

With IMDB or themoviedb scraper i don't have any problem.
I will contact TheGhost16 (creator of the scraper), hopeful he finds a solution.
Sorry guys for the late response, but i don't get any mail message although i'm subscribed to this topic.

I will start looking at the issues found. Because the scraper has to find all the movies in my own database so the limitations of moviemeter shouldn't be there.

For nfo support i will take a look at that as well.

Thx for your reply. I'll hope it will be fixed.
I have fixed some issues (I think), but i can't test them right now.

The things I fixed:
-When a movie title isn't found it will be stored and that day it will not request the same title again.
- Made a fix to movie titles that contain illegal filename characters. Like: \ / ' : ? and some more.

I will hope there will be no problems and i will check this tomorrow.
