Hi,

I'm running LibreElec on a Raspberry Pi3, which connects to MediaPortal running on a desktop on my network.

MediaPortal records to a drive in the desktop.

The issue i have is deleting a recorded tv programme takes about 13 seconds per programme.

So far its recorded about 1100 programs (using series record).

I badly need to delete some, but at 13 seconds per program, it would take way too long.

Is 13 seconds the usual amount, is there something i can so to speed this up?

You could simply delete the files on the MP server using Windows, and then use SetupTV.exe on this computer to automatically remove any non-existent recordings from the list. It's one click.

That sounds like a good solution.

Will TVSetup change anything in my configuration, i dont want to break anything as it is all working fine.

Just delete them from the windows HDD they are on then just click on the "Remove invaild entries" it'll give you a popup asking are you sure click yes and close tvsetup. You wont break anything

After every delete, the addon triggers a recording list refresh. With 1100 recordings, that will take a while...
