can you guys add the ability to add music bio manually for artist for discographies because if the artist is not american or well known the bio doesn't appear it would be great if you could add info manually thanks for a great peace of software and it gets better
You can add bios manually using NFOs (within the current NFO handling deficiencies).
can you explain what is NFO Handling and how to use it please because I have a big collection of music that are not american artist
MediaElch is quite good for creating NFO's and even if you choose not to use them, it's useful to see the structure of one, so that you can create your own by hand if necessary.
I use them extensively on all my media, including music and music videos (the weakest area of XMBC's library capabilities)
The great weakness of NFOs is the current association with a unique folder. For albums this isn't too bag, putting all the songs for an album in one folder is reasonable (although falls a part for box sets, multiple disc albums etc.). For artists, since Kodi can handle multiple per album and song, it is just too limiting and simplistic.
But I get the usefulness of being able to load extra info from a manually editable file.
