I apologize for asking this here as I realize this is not strictly a kodi problem.
i have upgraded to gallium os 2.0 on a acer chromebox and a hp chromebox. if the tv connected (HDMI) to either chromebox is turned off (for any period of time) and on again i get a blank screen with no signal warning. i must then manually restart the chrome box and all is good till the display is turned off again. this did not happen on galliumos 1.0
i have posted on the galliumos reddit and also goggled and searched and have found that this issues has come up often and for a few years.
i have found workarounds and possible solutions, but i do not as yet have the experience with linux to accurately evaluate their effectiveness or their risk. let alone understand how to apply any of them.
