I was playing in the start-up settings and switch the start-up from
Home screen to video assuming it would automatically bring me
to all my video add-ons. After powering off my kodi box, it only brings me to a
black screen and my remote doesn't seem to be doing anything. What I do?

This setting will bring you to your 'video maintenance mode', equivalent to hitting the 'vodeo' button from the home page. Delete the file 'guisettings.xml' in C:\Users\Gator1387\AppData\Roaming\Kodi\userdata and it should revert back to the default setting.
