Kodi Community Forum

So I am a first time user with a really good laptop (never had any problems with any installation before, I have a dell xps) and I get a black screen with a message: "Kodi has stopped working" as soon as I try to hit the application file. This is really weird. My o.s. is a 64 bit and I am (still) on windows 7. How do I make Kodi run for the first time?

I'm having same trouble the program wont fully load and windows gives no clue. Just says there is a problem. On one try had message about stuck in a loop?
