Hi. First thanks for great product!

Get the following problem with setting up audio 5.1.
While testing sound i found that fornt FL, FR, Center, Sub plaing ok. But Rear (back) channels mixing with frontal. For example back right mixing with front right and same with back left with front left.
It's only doing that when test file plaing back channel left or right - i can hear sound from back channel and from front aswell.

I used two different video files for testing 5.1 sound.

Just for test i open test files on other player and sound was ok (no mixing).

I made some reserch about different version of kodi (tested 14 15 16 17 ) and found that all of them has the same problem. But XBMC 13 – Gotham working ok! (no mixing channels)

Now about my devices and settings:
Windows 7
Mother board: asus p861-m
Sound card: VIA High Definition Audio
Sound system connected directly to the output of the soundcard (it's not using HDMI sound or etc)
Sound Driver: 6.0.10.1200

Kodi settings:
Audio output device: directSound Speakers Via High Definition audio
Number of channels 5.1
Output configuration - Optimized
Stereo upmix - off
Maintain original volume on downmix - off
Enable passthrough - off
Enable audio DSP - off

Ok, sorry about that. Thanks
Try using the WASAPI device options instead of Directsound.
