Yes.
The git version worked really nice on a millhouse libreelec build whe I tested yesterday. But I was getting danish-sami text on norwegian viaplay. And I couldn't change it.
Is this a bug?

Yes.

For me the git version doesn't work either. First it took me a while to realize I had to activate through Viaplays website, as I installed over the repository version. Uninstalled, deleted the addon directory and fresh installed to two Windows 10 computers to no avail. Here is a log that might help to help me: https://myfile.org/uchbb9c5b9/kodi__1_.log (user id anonymized)

Danish-Sami? Wow, that's a totally new language! Viaplay is amazing. :p

Hi!

Yes, this appears to be a bug in Kodi. It only loads one of the subtitles from setSubtitles even though there's four specified for some reason. If you have time over, then please report it to the Kodi bug tracker. Blush In the mean time, I'm going to add an option where you can specify which subtitle language to use.

You need to use the Kodi 18 nightlies with the Widevine library in place.

Problem for me and others who want to use Viaplay in Kodi is that we use the plugin Retrospect frequently, and it does not work with Kodi 18 nightlies. No chance to get it working with Kodi 17.3?

inputstream.adaptive 2.0.6 has been backported to Kodi 17 so it should hopefully work for the upcoming 17.4 release.

Hi! I am going to need a log file to be able to help you out.
"inputstream.adaptive 2.0.6 has been backported to Kodi 17 so it should hopefully work for the upcoming 17.4 release."

Good news, Thanks.

A lot of progress has been made since my last post. With the Kodi 18 nightlies and kodi-viaplay from git, everything should be working again. @0wing posted some good instructions in #128 if you'd like to give it a try. There's also an x86 version available of the Millhouse builds. I have also been working on a C More addon that is more or less feature complete. It works in a similar way as the Viaplay addon, so you'll need to have the Widevine library in place for it to function.

(2017-07-23, 22:57)Snaah Wrote: [ -> ]Sadly I have to say the plugin doesn't work since some time. Any chance you might fix it, @emilsvennesson ? We talked about TV to go before. It is now available on the web! Would be great to have in your plugin.

Are you referring to the version available in the Kodi repository or the version from git?

Nice to see that they've added TV to go on the web as well! I'll work on adding that soon. :-)
Have you considered making a SF anytime addon as well or addon for any other site where you can rent movies ? like google play movie?

Unlikely; it's not really something I'm interested in. You can rent movies on Viaplay. Wink
I wanted to let everyone know that Viaplay is fully working with Kodi 17.4.

Download the latest git version from https://github.com/emilsvennesson/kodi-viaplay. Follow the instructions below to install the required Widevine library.

Linux x86/Raspberry Pi:
Code:
curl -Ls http://nmacleod.com/public/libreelec/getwidevine.sh | bash
Windows:
Install a 32-bit web browser such as Google Chrome, search your system for widevinecdm.dll and copy the file to %APPDATA%\Kodi\cdm.
Android:
Should work out-of-the-box!

Thanks a lot, Emil! It's working flawlessly on Krypton 17.4, Win 10. Love the listings for TV To Go!

Just a correction on how to get it working for Windows:
1. Download and install Kodi 17.4 from http://mirrors.kodi.tv/releases/windows/...on-x86.exe
2. Download widevinecdm.dll (not libwidevinecdm.dll) from https://www.dll-files.com/widevinecdm.dll.html
3. Unpack the file with widevinecdm.dll to %APPDATA%\Roaming\Kodi\cdm\ (not %APPDATA%\Roaming\Kodi\cdm\widevine if present).
That's it!
