Other than with PseudoTVLive, is there a way to make a tv channel using Networked Storage with one of the live tv plugins? Any help on making this?

Also, I know there are a lot of illegal streaming channels, but are there sites posting the legal ones?

What you ask for have nothing to do with "PVR addons" in the context of Kodi. Read => http://kodi.wiki/view/PVR

Instead what you ask for in the context of Kodi is called "videos addons". See http://forum.kodi.tv/forumdisplay.php?fid=154

I really don't get why people want to make a "channel" of what’s on your NAS (or wherever you store your media).

The whole point of a media setup is that we aren't constrained by "EPGs" and "Schedules".

You have a set of TV programmes and movies on your server, they are sorted by title. They can be sorted by most recent, or what is "in progress" or in almost any order you like. Why would you want them lined up like some crazy simulcrum of a Cable TV setup, which lists programs not by metadata, but by channel and time.

I don't care what "channel" originally broadcast my program, or what time of day it showed. All I want to do is watch it in order.

What is it I'm not getting here?

Mhmm, and I bet they'd bounce me back here because what I'm asking is this: is there a way to create am "IPTV" channel that uses my local media stored on my NAS, similar to what PseudoTVlive does. I want to use the Live TV addon to actually make a channel, not use a Video addon that simulates TV.

Some people like watching their owned TV shows at random, with shorts and such added in. Monty Python (which I own legally) can be watched both in order and at random, as can others. It's not for everyone, but some like it. Heck, some people like watching their movies as if they were in a movie theater (Cinemavision).

Also noted... are there really no legal IPTV channels I can use? I know of The Fright Channel, but looking for others.
