Hi community
Well, changelog tells me we've got a controller configuration inside Kodi now.
First i tired to setup the key mapping inside and via Kodi 17, Kodi doesn't even recognize my input.
On Kodi 16 we've had a sample configuration that worked for mine more or less. A couple of buttons had the wrong position, and analog didn't worked. But hey, at least I was able to navigate
Another thing is that, how are we supposed to make new bindings?
The Kodi Wiki is very unclear here, it ain't teach us how to obtain these key values to create some config xml
After all that pain, i tried to use the Keymap Editor addon. Well, same result here, it ain't detect my input at all. Beside that the interface is very confusing, its way more clear if we do it in a proper Texteditor.
Someone here to help me on this?
Its a generic USB Joystick made by Greenasia. There is nothing magic on em!
I'm still using a 2002 Xbox with XMBC because they just did the job right
Oh, ofc Windows detects the Joystick, and all buttons are working too
