Kodi Community Forum

Hello,

I would like to know if there is a way to use kodi to record programming from a HD cable-card box ? Presently, I am using SD's beta DVR program which is kind of of but still needs a lot of work. I also use vlc to view off-line programming.
Any suggestions ? Thanks.

I use Tvheadend with 3 Primes for my backend; previously I had used MythTV. There is better documentation for getting MythTV to work with the Prime, but there are several steps with either backend.

As I understand it, this particular PVR addon is meant to also work with SD's HDHR DVR software that is currently in beta; however I do not know of the current status of it since the DVR software is still under development.
